Any grading is usually a nerve recking experience for anyone of any ability or age. It definitely goes up a level for adults and especially when they are testing for high belts such as 3rd, 2nd & 1st Kyu and then on to Dan grades. The syllabus is both technically difficult and added is a gruelling pace to test the candidate physically and mentally.
These grades are not given lightly, they are earned through achieving the high standard set by everyone who has gone before, so it goes without saying that a huge congratulations had been earned by Neil Morrison and Elaine Thomson both achieving their Brown Belt 3rd Kyu.
